How We Stack Up Against the Competition

Hosted Numbers is one of the leading and most respected hosted communication technology companies in America. As many of our customers can vouch for, we have excellent 24/7 customer service with very highly trained professionals, and technological offerings that are innovative and beneficial for a multitude of businesses, professionals, and markets. While WE know that Hosted Numbers rocks, we wanted to take a real look into how our services stack up when comparing them to our competitors. Everybody likes a little healthy competition, so here it goes! We lined up our most worthy competitors, and through some stealthy investigation, we formed 10 categories that help to compare and contrast the services of 9 other hosted communications companies with Hosted Numbers' offerings. Here I will outline the most notable categories and the most comparable and most contrasting findings out there.

The first category we analyzed is pricing. A basic Hosted Numbers service has a flat rate of $7.95/m for your first number which includes 1,000 free local minutes or 100 toll-free minutes. And it is 3.9 cents per additional minute over that. Plus, it only costs $5 add an extra local or toll-free number with that service per month as well. It's as simple as that. When comparing prices with other companies, the pattern was that many companies had either very confusing or very customized pricing systems. Though some prices were comparable, for example, Mongoose Metrics is $5/month and $5 per additional number and 10 cents per additional minute, and CallRail offers services for $19/month for 10 numbers but gives you only 500 free minutes total. Other companies like Log My Calls were an astounding at $69 per month for one number with 500 free minutes. And, as I said, some services like CallSource and Marchex offer custom plans only, usually based off of volume, which could get tricky and expensive.

Another important category that we covered was Analytics Integration to a standard metrics service like Google Analytics. Hosted Numbers, Mongoose Metrics, Log My Calls, Marchex, Callrail, IfByPhone and Grasshopper all have this service but others simply do not. Another service that Hosted Numbers offers is a Click-to-Call widget, which is very essential for any service that wants to appeal to really anyone who uses the internet. However, only three other service providers: IfByPhone, Ring Central, and Log My Calls offer this to their customers.

All in all, though many hosted communications companies may offer some comparable prices and services, our Call Tracking services seem to be the most well-rounded of all of our competitors. With service that goes above and beyond reliability and helpfulness and communication technology that continues to push the envelope Hosted Numbers can't be beat.
